Ready-Made frames.

Here at Caterham digital part of the Kodak express network we have a whole host of ready- made frames for you to choose from. We have all the regular sizes from 6in x4in standard postcard size right up to the A1 poster frames. With a multitude of mouldings and styles we are sure you would find something to your liking.

Clip Frames,

Amongst our collection of frames we also do a full range of Clip frames or Clip Art. These are often a cheaper alternative to regular frames and are quite popular with pop posters and wall art. Not having an actual frame surround these frames can give the poster greater presence without being lost in an ornate edging. These come mainly in glass up to the A3 size,(A4 and A3 having a choice of either glass or plastic) but A3 right up to 100x70cm come in plastic fronting.

Custom Mounts,

If you find you have an irregular sized print or artwork we can cut mounts (card surrounds) so that they can fit into a regular sized frame. Sometimes giving even a regular photo a mount within a frame helps to enhance the image or contrasts with the frame itself. Again we are able to cut mounts for the smaller frames right up to the larger A1 poster frames. We can also do a variety of colours but white or off white are the most popular.

Fit in frame,

If you think you can be a little ham fisted, or just don’t feel able to put your print into your frame yourself, we can do so for you. In most cases we can do this whilst you wait , but if we are exceptionally busy or if the frame is very large or has a tricky mount we can have it ready for you next day at the very latest. Fitting frames etc., next day allows us to give your order our full attention without the interruption of other customers.

Bespoke Framing,

If you have a print of an unusual size or wish to have a frame that is more in keeping with your style we can have a frame made to measure to suit your needs. Again with a variety of different mouldings and styles to choose from we are sure to find what you are looking for. This service is done off sight and so can take a week to ten days to complete your order. However we are certain that you will be happy with the level of quality in the finished product.

Photo Retouching & Manipulation,

We all have somewhere that favourite photo that sadly has seen better days. Whether it is a little faded has scratches, creases, or even torn we may be able to help. Restoring photos is never an exact science but for the most part some improvement can be done. Such work is done on an individual photo by photo basis. The cost will include digital copying, reprinting and upon the amount of work required. Small prints can be scanned where as anything above A4 will need to be digitally photographed to get the digital image. All work is done on the premises so there is no danger of your precious photos being lost and every care is taken with them as though they were our own. So why not bring your photos to us and we can see what we can do.

Slide Scanning,

Along with old photographs you may well come across old transparencies or slides.

These too can be scanned and the digital images either turned into prints or kept on a C.D. We can scan standard 35mm slides or smaller. Sadly we are unable to do the larger plate sizes as they will be too big to fit in our equipment. All work is carried out on the premises so again there is no danger of anything being lost in transit or post.
