Many wedding venues claim to be a magical setting for your wedding yet few seem to meet the mark. However Ashdown Park Mansions in Sussex is truly such a place. This fantastically converted chapel of the grade II listed mansion house needs to be seen to be believed. The high vaulted ceiling surrounded by the rainbow light of many stained glass windows reveals a unique banqueting space. It is a place that can be grand and romantic all in one. Surrey wedding photographer Caterham Photography were lucky enough to have been able to photograph a delightful wedding here. The dazzling effect of the stained glass windows bathed the guests in a luminous magical feeling of light they have rarely seen elsewhere.
This impressive Mansion and hotel is encapsulated within the Ashdown Forest and is in Surrey’s sister county of Sussex. Also the grand former chapel is not the only function room that Ashdown Park has to offer. They have a number of others for more informal and relaxed environments. Including a lovely summer house situated amongst lush lawns. The grounds and magnificent architecture of the surrounding buildings make an ever changing backdrop for our photos.
