The Surrey hills area is home to fantastic views and lush countryside. It is of little wonder then that so many golf courses have been placed within this amazing landscape. Where many might argue that there are too many and that they are a waste of space, it cannot be denied that these leisure facilities are responsible for keeping the housing developments from spoiling miles of sweeping views. Another bonus to having these fabulous grounds and fairways is that they often surround a sizeable club house which are great for holding functions as well as, for our case, Weddings. Not only do they become a focal point which your guests can easily find, but if they also hold a civil ceremonies licence the whole day can be held under one roof with stunning photo opportunities all around.
One such gem of a place amongst all the others is Farleigh golf club. It has recently undergone a major refurbishment which gives the whole complex a classic clean feel. The lake and other water features including a grand fountain add to the backdrops of woodland and greens. This gave us numerous photo opportunities to produce some glamorous and romantic wedding portraits. Farleighs can cater for the small and intimate ceremonies of about 30 guests right up to lavish wedding breakfasts of up to 160 seated guests. Their wedding organisers can help you with all the finer details like table decorations and chair sashes all of which can enhance your day. Caterham Photography has had an excellent time in photographing weddings here and has found it an easy and enjoyable experience. Hardly like work at all. So our photographers, who are based not far from Warlingham Farleigh golf course Surrey, we look forward to photographing many more weddings here in the future.
